END OF THE YEAR SUMMERY

At the close of the preceding year, we have proven that we have the potential to be successful, as we are also celebrating our 1st Anniversary at TransWorld Jetways. As most of you know, we have been deciding about awards. The following have recieved the mentioned awards :: David Kellum - Late Night Worker:: ::James Crawley - Most Distance Traveled 42,000 NM :: ::Bob Griggs - Most Time and Most Flights :: ::Brandon Reeves - Best Screenshot :: ::Jayden Spring - Best Accent:: ::James Crawley (again) - Most Annoying laugh by JS :: And last but not least the most important award of all, Best PIREP System - Presented to Eric Olson, for his amazing work on APIRS, our Automated Pilot Information Reporting System. As always, ours office doors are open daily for you pilots to address your needs and concerns, and we encourage you to drop it "just to say Hi" I know that with our continued success, and hard work and cooperation, we can continue to grow more sound, and grow to be bigger and better. New Cargo Division

Starting January 1st, 2009, Transworld Jetways will be starting a new Cargo service to Portland, OR, Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX, Miami, FL and St. Maarten in the Netherland Antilles. The equipment for these flights will be the DC-10-30F. There are only two DC-10-30F's in the fleet, N131JA and N132JA. Any PIREP shown with another aircraft will be deleated. More cities to come, watch the forums for more news:)

NOTAM: BRAVO ISSUED 18/12/08 0520 ZULU TIME Meet, APIRS, our new Automated Pilot Information System. This System relives the stess from the pilots, and the staff, from having to manually file and approve a submitted pirep. A manual will be provided. Please look for it on the fourm in the TWJ operations forum.
